Ms. Samaras is a lawyer with over 10 years of experience in corporate finance and securities law. After starting her career as an associate in the corporate securities and M&A group at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, she joined SNC-Lavalin as legal counsel, M&A. Subsequently she worked in-house as senior corporate counsel at Frontera Energy Corporation prior to joining Carbon Streaming in 2022. Kathryn also serves on the Board of Body Brave, a charity providing accessible eating disorder treatment and support advancing community training and education.  

Ms. Samaras holds an LLB from the University of Alberta and a B.A. from The University of Western Ontario and is also a member of the Ontario Bar.
